As we move in to an exciting new chapter at the Ontario Mechanical League, we’re thrilled to announce that our first OML meeting will take place this month … and you’re invited to attend!
The OML has grown significantly over the last year, which is why we are aiming to establish a Contractor Committee (CC). Join us at our upcoming meeting to learn how this committee works hard to serve the industry and what it can do for business owners like you!
The OML Contractor Committee, when formed, will parallel the existing OEL Contractor Committee. As you may know, the OEL’s CC is comprised of designated electrical contractors from chapters across Ontario. These individuals volunteer to meet nine times a year to receive updates on issues that affect contractors, their businesses and the industry, with discussions that expand into the activities of our provincial regulator, Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), and its internal committees (Contractor Advisory Council, Electrical Contractor Registration Agency and Master Examining Committee) – as well as the OEL’s Contractor Government Relations Committee.
We want to know what WE can do for YOU. Whether it’s issues regarding TSSA, the Ministry of Labour or health and safety training, we’re interested in hearing what you are concerned about and the challenges you’re facing.
