    Workforce Development Board and Local Employment Planning Council (WDB & LEPC) will be hosting a breakfast event for the local Peterborough community. Register to attend and learn what local employers are saying about the skilled trades.

    WDB & LEPC are responsible for labour market research and analysis covering Peterborough, Northumberland, Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton.

    In 2019, WDB/LEPC conducted local labour market research on in-demand skilled trades in the Peterborough region. Over 100 local skilled trades employers contributed to the research and offered important insight into the apprenticeship system, skilled trades? promotion within local high schools and the future demand for skilled tradespeople.
